@djrogersanchez well isn’t this a sick tune to shuffle holes into soles. acid house drop at 3:45 #sickkk

If you’re a fan of trance, you MUST add MaRLo to the list of producers that you currently follow. I discovered MaRLo through Ferry Corsten’s Countdown. His track ‘Jaguar’ is currently featured in the top three and has been in the top three for the previous three weeks, peaking at number one two weeks ago. ’Jaguar’ is an epic instrumental trance track; just crank up your speakers or headphones and go on the journey. I know this sounds cheesy, but trust.

The tune featured in the post is called ‘The Island’, not to be confused with Pendulum’s version. If you’re a fan of vocal trance, you’re in for a treat with this tune. ’The Island’ was recently featured on Armin’s A State of Trance.

And finally, one of the tracks that put him on the map. MaRLo’s remix of Brainbox was the preferred dance floor banger edit played out in Ferry Corsten’s live sets.

@heatbeatmusic another MASSIVE tune from the Argentinian trance duo known best for tearing it up with TRASH. #cometoLA #trancefamily

@bartclaessen @raznitzan @arminvanbuuren can’t stop listening to this mashup. sounds so good rushing out of quality monitors #globaltrancefamily

@bingo_players FILTHY remix of SvD’s Koko. The hits keep coming. #cryjustalittle #sliced #devotion <-CLASSIC

@ErickMorillo “Stronger” is just the track that I need right now. Inspirational house music. #STUDYINGinsteadofEDCing

@ericprydz Everyone knows “Call On Me” and its accompanying music video. If you don’t, it’s well worth Youtubing ;) Unfortunately, not many Americans are familiar with Eric Prydz productions beyond that. Working under his other aliases Pryda and Cirez D, Prydz is a musical genius. It’s time that we recognize his talent so that he can make a long overdue appearance on the west side of the Atlantic. @ericprydz We all know you hate flying, but man up and come to the States already. We’re waiting.

random trivia: he was once a member of the four person Swedish House Mafia before it became the three that we all know and love.

A production by @SanderVanDoorn under his alias Purple Haze. “Timezone” has a dark, almost eerie sound and feel. Since his introduction to vocal production with “Love is Darkness”, it seems as if his work with vocals is paying off. #kineticfieldclosingact #bethere

@EDC_LasVegas Lineup Disappointing
When @insomniacevents announced that EDC 2011 would be three days, instead of the usual two, my expectations were set high. It was Insomniac’s statement to world that it would not take second best to Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, not without a fight. Well, the lineup was announced today, and it’s extremely underwhelming. Kinetic Field, the MAIN STAGE, doesn’t even have an act announced between midnight and six in the morning (Guetta doesn’t count as an act). Whatever, I’m going to stop complaining because I know that there will always be an act worth watching at any given time. I’m just eager to see what Insomniac does with the venue and how they plan to deal with heat stroke. Also, people, can we please be safe and not make a sequel to epic bloody face girl from last years EDC?? #plurlife
Highlights:
Friday: Kinetic Field is stacked from midnight to close. Dirty South, Tiesto, Angello, and SvD.
Saturday: I’m curious to see Empire of the Sun, Green Velvet, and UMEK, I guess.
Sunday: Kinetic Field and circuit grounds are both pretty awesome. Of course they’d have two of the sweet lineups on the same day of the festival.
Lowlights:
Highlights, or lack thereof
No A&B
Poor showing of trance stars (Arty, Mat Zo, Gareth?!)
Nervo is playing the changeover sets, really?? They deserve a timeslot, geez Insomniac
Final thoughts: I’m going to Miami next year…

@michael_woods is the future of progressive; I can’t say it enough. From Nitro to First Aid to VMS, everything he touches is GOLD. I discovered his latest single in a Markus Schulz tweet, “@michael_woods - Fruitcake: one of my fav producers delivers again! Dominating my sets these days. “
